Poor, poor 1st graders....I hope you don't teach English.
That is based on The state, the local school board and the teachers salary, so the question is hard to answer without specifics..
As the above answer indicated, each state and local is different. A general rule of thumb is that they take the amount of years worked (say 30), multiply it by a set multiplier (usually between 1.5 and 2.5 depending on the state or local) and that becomes a percentage of the average of your last three years income that you will receive. Example: You retire after 30 years making $100,000 as your final salary. The state you are in uses 2.0 as a multiplier. So 30 X 2.0 = 60. So your yearly pension would be $60,000. Some state give a cost of living adjustment every year, others do not. Most (all?) states penalize you a bit if you retire early (say at age 57 instead of 62), but that gives you a ballpark figure/idea.

A teacher's pay depends on several factors. Each school district has a salary schedule that places teachers at certain levels. These levels are determined by how many college units a teacher has, how many years experience, how many college degrees, and if he/she teaches a specialized job like special education. Teacher's also can make extra money in the district by coaching, doing things like year book, spelling bee coach, and other jobs that need to be done in the school. Teachers do not extra pay for things like Back the School Night nor Open House.
as an art teacher myself i make $20 per month
about 900 bucks
Most teachers make less than a total of $2000 a month after taxes. This is a yearly salary of around $30,000.
Entry level managers make $30,000 or more each month. Some teachers make $30,000 each month for working for the school system.
The amount of money that gym teachers make depends on the level. College gym teachers make more than high school teachers.
make about 25,000
THEY get paid 000000000000 dollarsw lol
mostly depends on the school, what the other teachers get.
Computer teachers make the same as other teachers in the same school. The pay depends on the school district.

I teach in South Africa. I have a BSc: Biological Sciences and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education with 3 years experience and I make about R11000 a month before deductions and a bonus in my birthday month. That's about US $1570 a month before deductions.
