The thermostat on every watercooled engine is in the same place: in the fitting that connects the engine to the top radiator hose. It's attached with three bolts.
In the same place as it is on every other V6 engine built in the world!!! On top of the engine, between the heads, under the throttle body.
LOLOLOL its attached directly to the bottom of the engine... same place as every other engine ever made... cept for dry sump...
i had the same problem on my Taurus 06. check the battery and it's connections, something is loose. i have changed the battery and cleaned the the terminals. every thing turned ok

I have the same problem too. However, I still cannot find the reason why. When the car is parked and turned off, it makes these 3 consecutive mild beeps randomly throughout the day in my driveway. It is really strange. The frequency will be once every couple hours.
