Yes, they do. I am also haveing to attain one as well, so I have researched it some. It's not hard to get however, just go to the NC Department of Labor's website, find the link, fill out the info, and print out the certificate. You might want to do it with your potential employer though, since it asks some business questions only they oould answer. Hope that helps, and you find a job in this economy:)
