Check with the different pharmacy companies - Walgrens, CVS, etc. They advertise sometimes for Pharmacy Tech and they train you with pay. I would check Walgren's first they were looking for some about 2-3 wks ago.

Non Certified at a walgreens, cvs or publix will be about 8/hr with a 1/hr raise once you get certified in about 6 months. Hospitals want certification but they start around 11/hr.
Pharmacy tech usuallt make pretty good salary, after pay some of your regular bills, if you still have money left over, you definitely can afford a Civic, but may not be a new car though.
