Sadly you cannot techinally use any "weapon" to kill the Scarab. You have to shoot the legs with a Missile Pod, and when it drops down jump on the back and shoot the energy core behind it. Then it makes this ginormous purple explosion =D

No, there is no really way, execpt if your in a scarab with a scorpion tank, and where ever you aim the scarab aims or moves that way. So it is sort of a way.

first you have to get a missal pod, then shoot it in the joints for a till it comes down and then get on it and find the reactor and shoot theheck out of it till you hear a beeping noise and the reactor turns red after that you get off the scarab beetle and run like heck
