Why is Bumblebee called Bumblebee when there are cool names like Ironhide or Optimus Prime?
because he is not vool himself, you have to earn a cool name Bumblebee is called Bumblebee due to his smaller nature, but he still contains power and agility. Bee's are small but they are fast and pack a punch with their stingers. Ironhide wouldn't fit Bumblebee because Ironhide makes you think of something tough, durable ( not that bumblebee isn't tough or durable, just that something named Ironhide sounds like something that would be sturdy and stubborn) and reliable. Optimus sounds pretty important lol, and in the movie it explains that the name "Prime" is because Optimus is a descendant of the "Primes" the original robots.
