Silkworm moths are winged insects. They also have three pairs of legs that are attached to their body at the middle section, called the thorax. Although they prefer to fly, they can move on their legs as well.

The silkworm breathes through the dots on its body. These dots are called spiracles. They like to eat mulberry leaves.
