yes they do like in nests but however they don't make there own butterflies normally live in nests that other animals made and left

No, flies do not live in nests. They simply lay their eggs everywhere that they can. Flies live on ceilings, houses, etc.

Dragonflies do not build nests. The females lay their eggs underwater and then abandon them. It can take up to four years for the dragonflies to fully develop after that.
