Some people are allergic to bee stings and can die quickly from a single sting if not medically treated. Even if you are not allergic, you can also die from bee sting if you are stung many times.

A wasp sting can be exceptionally painful, but will usually not kill someone unless they have an allergy. If a person is allergic to a wasp sting, then even a small amount of wasp venom can kill them if left untreated.

Unless a person has an allergy to wasp venom, a wasp sting will usually not kill someone. Unfortunately, wasps are not like bees, and can sting someone multiple times, resulting in very painful welts.

There are two varieties of black bee. One is the carpenter bee which can, and does, sting. The other is a variety of bumblebee which does not have a sting.
