The League of Nations had already fallen apart because of the war in Europe, so it didn't really exist at the time of the Pearl Harbor attack.
After the condemnation, Italy and Japan withdrew from the League of Nations.
The first example is the Japanese invasion of Manchuria. The League of Nations disapproved but had no means to stop the invasion. Mussolini then invaded Ethiopia in 1935, and the League of Nations was unable to take action against him. Finally, in 1936, Hitler began to remilitarize Germany, and there was no reaction from the League of Nations.
Japan, Germany and Italy
mad
As always, nothing. The League of Nations spent most of their time sitting on their butts talking the talk and not walking the walk.
Britain and France wanted Mussolini as an ally against Hitler the league of nations failed to protect their countries.
Italy's successful invasion of Ethiopia demonstrated the weakness of the League of Nations, which had no power to prevent war, despite its noble ideals.
decision to join the League of Nations
nothing
To try and prevent future world wars from occurring. WWI was so terrible that people wanted it to be the "war to end all wars". The Great Depression, the rise of fascism, the failure of the League of Nations to respond to Japan's invasion of Manchuria and China all resulted in the League of Nations failing in it's main goal to prevent another world war.
They condemned Japan who simply quit the League in response; they took no direct military intervention
The US did not do anything directly as a response to Italy invading Ethiopia. The League of Nations censured Italy, but Italy was too strong and so that was all that was done.
