How many Canadian tanks were blown in ww1?
If by blown, you mean blown up, then the obvious answer is 0.
The Canadian Tank Corps of World War One had never reached
operational status and never participated in actual combat. The
first battalion was still in the UK training on the Mk V tank when
the war ended. Battalions two and three were still being organized.
At that time, the British Mk V tank was leading edge technology.
The Canadian Army on the mainland was supported by tanks of the
British Army, operated by British crews and support. The tanks were
returned to the UK when the Canadian Tank Corps was disbanded in
1920. Some training was also being done on the French FT - 17 as
well, but again, none saw operational service.
Former american army examples of each tank were acquired in the
late 1930's to begin training a new armour corps for the Canadian
Army, as World War Two was commencing.
