Henry VIII (1491 - 1547) and Catherine Howard (c1520 - 1542) were married on 28 July 1540, and, after being charged with adultery, Catherine was demoted as queen on 22 November 1541. So this would make them married for about 16 months. Catherine was beheaded on 13 February 1542.
As I recollect, she wasn't divorced, she was beheaded for suspected adultery.

She never really ruled France in her own right. She was only the wife of the King of France. At first after her husband became King his matrise en titre Diane De Potier had more power than Cahterine had. After Henrys death her son was still a child, so she ruled France as his regent.
