As I am in the Air Training Corps already, I went to my first AEF (Air Experience Flying) last Thursday , 19 April 2012, at RAF Boscombe Down. It was well enough to be honest, especially doing the aerobatics in the air. First of all, in the Air Training Corps try and do your best as you can. Make sure your attendance is high enough. I got a Best Recruit Award for 2011, and this also went towards my CV especially to go Sixth Form. As I said, the more you do in the Air Cadets, the more it will push you up to become a pilot in the RAF. As well as Air Cadets, you need 5 A*-C Grades including English, Maths and Physics. Good Luck in the future! Flight Lieutenant Shreeves.
