Can you vent a dryer vent into a garage?
It is not advised to have your dryer vent terminate into the
garage because of the moisture being introduced into a closed space
such as the garage. This will cause excessive humidity in the area
and can cause mold growth. In addition, large amounts of lint will
be discarded into the garage making it a mess to clean after every
use. It is recommended to terminate outside of the home for proper
ventilation a 4 inch in diameter duct should be used with a dryer
vent cap to exhaust moisture, lint, and hot air produced by the
dryer.
