Depends a little on where the dent is placed on the tube(middle of a tube is better than at a joint), which tube it is, if it's a sharp or a rounded dent and the size of it. usually it's still OK.

∙ 15y agoNo, magnets do not attract aluminum bike frames. Aluminum is not a magnetic material, so it does not respond to magnetic fields like iron or steel does.
absolutly not... the geometry is completely different. the frame on the aluminum bike has 2 top tubes that pass right through the radiator shrouds... so without immense amount of modifaction no.

Generally speaking aluminum frames have larger diameter tubes than steel or titanium bikes, but the most obvious is to test with a magnet. If it sticks it's a steel frame. If it doesn't it's probably aluminum. Titanium frames are still so rare that you are very unlikely to buy one w/o knowing.
It's strong enough, lighter than steel and cheaper than carbon fiber and titanium.
I would suggest a bike with a small frame and a long seat post if you want a low seat for jumping, but a larger frame if you ride mountain and street more.
Chemically pure aluminum is just about never used in construction, it's too soft. Most of what's labeled as aluminum are really alloys, mixtures between aluminum and small amounts of other metals. 7005 is just the name for a certain "recipe" of aluminum alloy. If you'd look it up you'd see hardness, strength, resistance to fatigue, recommended heat treatments after welding etc etc.
Not really, the frame is just too small. Sell it or trade it for a MTB is probably doable though.
It is made with hand made high end and grade aluminum frame. Using aluminum allows the bike to perform at a higher level than any other bike made with another metal than aluminum. Aluminum is lightweight, non toxic, and has many other uses other than just being used to make racing bikes. It is also the second most used metal in the world after steel, most notably it is used to make prosthetic limbs.
The main shape of a regular bike frame is a couple of triangles.

It's not really clear what you are asking about. But you can use the same components even if the material of the frame is different. Basically you can use the same parts in a steel frame as you would in an aluminum frame - assuming the physical fit is the same.
