If your state has a mandatory helmet law, it will state that you must wear a helmet that complies with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 218. That standard applies to manufacturers of helmets. If the manufacturer of your helmet has certified that your helmet complies with FMVSS-218, then you can wear it while riding on the street. If your state does not have a mandatory helmet law, you can wear whatever you want to, including a dirt bike helmet, a bicycle helmet, or nothing at all.If your state has a mandatory helmet law, it will state that you must wear a helmet that complies with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 218. depending what city you live in
all ages are required to wear a motorcycle helmet, unless you live in a state where there are no helmet requirement... but there are not too many states that don't have a helmet requirement
Currently Missouri requires motorcycle riders to wear a helmet. In 2009 the Governor vetoes a bill that would have done away with the state's helmet law. Since then the House and the Senate have continued their attempt to do away with the helmet law.
Depends on the laws in the state you live which you did not list.
it's different in every state.
Absolutely it is very important for motorcycle riders to wear a helmet. It is also very illegal in most state for a motorcyclist to drive without a helmet, it is for the saftey of the driver.
No single answer to that, the laws can be different from one state to another.
