no to mountain bikes and trick bikes but yes to the ones called "street bikes" with flat edged tires

the trail bikes do. not the race ones.
First off both Diamondback and Specialized has a range of bikes, from basic ones to nice ones. Who will "win" the comparison depends on how you pick the bikes from the line-up. And if you pick bikes that are supposed to be similar it's very much down to personal preferences. Both companies are sloid and (usually) reliable. If you're planning to buy a new bike from a shop, pick the one from the shop that treats you best.

The colour isn't a good indication of the strength. Choice of material - steel or aluminium alloy, and design will be more important for strength than colour.
BMX bikes were invented in 1974. It became official when George E Esser founded the NBL. There is no main manufacturer of BMX bikes but there are many different ones.

Yamaha makes the best dirt bikes. Kawasaki is also good and the old Honda xr bikes were bullet proof but the new ones are junky.
