Halloween did not catch on in the United States until cities were developing which brought people living closer together. The first citywide celebration of Halloween was in 1921 in Anoka, Minnesota.

Under the actual name "Halloween"? Scotland, in the 16th century. Keep in mind that Halloween was celebrated before that under several different names, such as All Saints Day, All Hallows' Eve, and Samhain.
Utah is strange when it comes to Trick-or-Treating. If Halloween falls on a Sunday, Trick-or-Treating usually takes place the day before Halloween. But since this hear Halloween falls on a Monday, Trick-or-Treating will take place on Halloween as usual.
