Well I have to find out some facts for my homework andI found these: The Jarrow Crusade started in October 1936. Around 200 Men marched from Jarrow to London. They walked about 300 Miles. The Jarrow crusade was caused mainly because of terrible poverty. It took them 25 days to travel to London. Hope this helped!!
The Jarrow March, also known as the Jarrow Crusade, started in the town of Jarrow, which is located in northeast England. It began on October 5, 1936, and was a protest march organized by the Jarrow Borough Council against high unemployment and poverty in the town. The marchers aimed to raise awareness and lobby for government action to alleviate the dire economic conditions.
In the short run, no, because 200 fit and healthy men travelled 25 days all the way from jarrow (near Newcastle) all the way to London for the government only said "im too busy" and all they got was a train ride home. We know this because a source created 50 years later by Don Dixon (ex MP of Jarrow) `there is intolerably high enemployment`. Therefore, there is still no change after 50 years. However, it seems that the crusade was monumental to many people in Jarrow because they named a bus after it, made a statue and there was a cartoon published in 2000 about the crusade in comparison to lorry drivers' slow drive.
The First Crusade was the only successful Crusade.
Kings' crusade
it was for bananas
the people of jarrow went on a crusade to get the government's attention because 3/4 of their men were unemployed.

Jarrow Crusade did a few different things. He protest march against unemployment his happen during the Great Depression.

The unanimity of the protest that Jarrow is making to the rest of the country is in the despatching of about 200,000 letters to other corporations, trade unions.
200 hundred people from Jarrow, Tyneside walked to Parliament. 199 men and 1 woman, Ellen wilkinison, the prime minister.
In WW2 loads of people marched down to London because they wanted jobs. They came from Jarrow and that is why it was called the Jarrow Crusade. They wanted to see the prime minister but he refused to see them. So they walked back home miserable.
NO, the Jarrow Crusaders got injured when alien monkey heads searched all of Paris but couldn't find their space ship, so they attacted jarrow and injured the marchers by throwing bananas at their noses,

Donations were given to the marchers as they went through cities, including Leeds. This was to help them get home via train.
