For girls, it was capris with blouses (tucked in) and saddle shoes with bobby socks. At dances, it was poodle skirts with a scarf around the neck. There was also those retro sunglasses. Guys wore leather jackets and popped their collars. They also smoked lots of ciggaretes, not knowing how bad they were for you at the time. I will provide some pictures in the links.
