One factor affecting the modern era (period) is the technology. Most people called the present time as modern due to the rapid increase of innovation. Many companies worldwide are developing new products that could help people's lives more comfortable, and that contributed the vast improvement of social media, entertainment, funds, lifestyle, etc.
