No.
Because some things can be learned empirically ... i.e. try it, and if it works, then use it.
There are many examples where people used a technology to do something useful before there was any scientific study of how it worked.
For example:
The original stone tools obviously predates any kind of "science"
The Romans used concrete for all kinds of stuff --- and the science of materials is just now figuring out how it works.
Technology people were building and using transistors for years (starting around 1948) for several years before a scientific theory for their operation was developed.
The Middle East, Asia, and parts of Africa were more advanced than Europe. Science, new technology, and inventions were developed in these nations. There was advanced arts and buildings.
Islam was the most influenced from greek technology and science.
Because they have deeper and older roots in history.
APEX: Science and technology flourished in Islamic caliphates but declined in Western Europe.
The Viking society is older. (I think) Some historians say the Vikings were living in Scandinavia at 1000 BC. If true, this would make their society much older than the Roman.
The technology is older than science
Science been around more many many years. back in the b.c's there was Science. Technology started after it.
Science is older. Because, Technology is the application of Science
i think you mean what,,,,, and...nothing, unless you count human biology before it was classed as that, and if you don't class anything....nothing is older than science
Technology. Science is a disipline, a way of thinking
Science and Technology are linked, when the first caveman picked up a bone to use as a club science was the method with which he used his logic to create technology (the club). one could argue that science is necessary to invent technology and therefore must have come first.
science is the older subject, because technology is new in now we have technical things like cellphone, computers, and television, ech.
of course science is older.because even in the start,in the days of cavemen, science has already been used. without science, where will technology come from? everything that is a fact is science. there is no technology if there's no science.
I just want to ask.... How can I move on on my ex, I mean I love him so much.
One (the best one) is that science is the foundation upon which technology is based. Technology is a broad topic that covers both tools and techniques used to affect some control over natural phenomenon. By learning what nature is and by formulating the concepts on which natural law is based, we can apply them to create and advance technology. Science made technology possible. There would be no technology without science.
Technology, in as much as Ancient Man made himself tools, weapons, boats, etc without knowing the science behind those inventions.
We have lot of evidence to prove that the technology is older than science. The oldest culture of the world Samma Soan Valley of Stone age 0.5 millions years old has many types of stone tooks. We have lot of evidence available in the fields of construction , industry from oldests civilizations of Egypt, Mesopotimia , Harappan Civilization in South Asia , China and many others.
