Trench warfare was deadly because it was an unexpected war for the men who were trained before the war. At that time, there were no machine guns or other high-leveled weapons, so their plan was to flatten the barbed wires, cause chaos in the enemies, and in the meantime, go and charge at them. However, this plan turned out to be disastrous, for they had no defenses from the weapons and could easily be shot. The enemies only had to shoot with the machine guns to kill the people coming towards them. Because of this plan, many soldiers--especially young ones--died quickly.
Trench warfare is when countries fight a war in trenches. Makes sense, right? A trench is kind of like a long, narrow hole in the ground that soldiers can stand in. The purpose of a trench is to make it harder to shoot the soldiers that are in it, and because the trenches are narrow, it is also difficult for artillery to hit the troops in them.
It's deadly because it's good for defending. When enemy troops attack you while you're in a trench, it's hard for them to hit you but easy for you to hit them. And when you throw in other technology like barbed wire (which makes it hard for enemy troops to move) and machine guns (which fire very fast and can kill large numbers of troops who are out in the open), then attacking is very dangerous.
But you can't win a war by sitting in a trench- at some point, you'll have to attack and try to get rid of your enemy (by killing them or forcing them to leave their positions). So that's what happened in France during World War I. Between the trenches would be the open land commonly called "no man's land". As troops crossed "no man's land", they had nothing to hide behind, and would have to cross barbed wire fences while getting shot at by enemy rifles, machine guns, artillery and sometimes even chemical weapons. Needless to say, many thousands of men died because of that foolishness.
they had deadly weapons.
If by "solution for trench warfare", you mean a way to end trench warfare, then the invention and widescale use of tanks, bombers and the Blitzkrieg in WWII solved trench warfare.

Deadly, dank and dirty.
Guns and trench warfare were such a deadly combination because a soldier could fire into a foxhole or trench without even looking and fatally would people. Throwing a grenade was very easy too because the people in the trench had nowhere to go to escape.
i dont know. look in your textbook :)

Well this one seems kind of obvious, but Trench Warfare is called Trench Warfare because the men fought in Trenches during WW1 in which trench warfare was utilized.
