Because Edward VI and Mary I had different mothers, they were brought up to follow different beliefs (Mary's mother was Catherine of Aragon = Catholic & Edward's mother was Jane Seymour = Protestant) Edward VI was a puritan ( a Protestant extremist) and Mary I was a Catholic extremist, so this was all about religion; Edward VI had made England a very Protestant country and he knew that if his half sister Mary I successed him that she would make England a Catholic country. This is why he did not want her to become Queen of England.
Hope this helps :)
Because Queen Elizabeth I's Brother Edward VI and sister Mary I both died childless before she did.
Lady Jane Gray became queen after her second cousin Edward Tudor, Prince of wales died. But Mary, Edward's half sister wanted to become queen too. So most people chose sides and soon enough Lady Jane Gray became queen. But, Nine days later, the people that wanted Mary to be queen captured Lady Jane Gray AND her husband and executed them both. Then, Mary was chosen queen. Her followers captured Princess Elizabeth, Mary half sister, and planned to kill her too! But of course, that's another story....(If you want to know what happened to Princess Elizabeth just ask the question)!
If her uncle, Edward VIII, does not resign, abdicate, then QE II does not become Queen. In 1926 when QE II was born Edward VIII was the Prince of Wales, her father, who became George VI was Duke of York.
Albert became king on the death of Queen Victoria in 1901. He became known as King Edward VI (his second name was Edward).
A Queen's sister is called a Princess. Even the queen was a princess prior to becoming Queen of XXXX. The Princesses and Princes are the offspring of the King or Queen.

Lady Jane was the great-granddaughter of Henry VII, so she was a cousin of Edward VI. When he was dieing he was persuaded to proclaim Lady Jane Grey as heir to the throne instead of his sister Mary (a Catholic) or illegitimate Elizabeth
No, Lady Jane Grey was a Protestant. The only reason she became queen was because Edward VI didn't want his Catholic sister, Mary to become queen. Edward was actually given medicine to stay alive just long enough for Edward to choose Lady Jane Grey as the next queen.
she killed her sister
Yes. She was queen after her half brother Edward died and before her half sister Elizabeth.
Edward IV inherited the throne immediately after his father's death; after him came Lady Jane, Edward's cousin, Mary I (also known as 'Bloody Mary'), Edward's half sister, and Elizabeth I (known as the Virgin Queen, Gloriana, Good Queen Bess), who was Edward's half-sister.
Elizabeth I had one sister, Queen Mary I of England, and a brother, King Edward VI of England. She did not kill either of them. She did, however, authorise the killing of her cousin Mary, Queen of Scots.

Edward I's first wife was Eleanor of Castile. She was Queen of England from 1272 until her death in 1290.
Not practicly. After the queen dies, the queens oldest daughter becomes queen when that queen dies the sister after that queen becomes queen. Do you get it?
Queen Elizabeth I had one half sister, Mary, and two half brothers, Edward VI and Henry FitzRoy. Queen Elizabeth II had one sister, Margaret.
