Black people also weren't allowed to vote, and only "real" humans got to vote back then. White people didn't consider them human. They were considered animals. When black people did sit in the front, they would get yelled at. When black professor, Jo Ann Robinson, sat in the front of the bus absent mind, the bus driver screamed at her so much that she ran off the bus crying. Even if black people are where they were suppose to be, the bus driver could force them to move seats to make room for a white person. That happened to Vernon Johns, and when he tried to get the other black people to leave the bus as a protest, they just said, "You ought to knowed better." That is just terrible, knowing that they had given up hope. When the same thing happened to Rosa Parks, she said no, and got arrested. People were so racist back then.
