You're getting your wars mixed up. Korea started off with a conventional big bang and sustained itself that way until it ended. The war only lasted roughly 3 yrs.
It did not grow from a seed (or cancer) like Vietnam did.
Actually, it did escalate when North Korea invaded South Korea, when the UN became involved in the conflict to stop the war, and also when the US sent in troops and medical units to support South Korea
The conflict in Korea escalated , because 1. North Korea invaded South Korea. 2. The UN became involved in the conflict in an attempt to stop war. and 3. The United States sent in troops and medical units to support South Korea.

Beacasue it was not realy a war it was a dictator ship problem becasue of pablo. Primarily because the war was confined to Korea only. Neither the U.S., nor its allies who supported South Korea, or communist china and soviet russia, who supported North Korea, wanted to escalate the war beyond the Korean peninsula. The United States, Soviet Russia and Communist China were carefull to not allow the Korean War to spiral out of control.

I teach on conflict and frequently use a tool known as the conflict curve. It shows the way in which conflicts typically escalate and de-escalate.

Nuclear bombing is dangerous in Korea because it would cause catastrophic loss of life, widespread destruction, long-term health consequences, and environmental contamination. Additionally, it could escalate the conflict to a regional or global scale, leading to further instability and conflict in the region.

The levels of conflict are typically categorized as interpersonal (between individuals), intragroup (within a group), intergroup (between groups), and international (between nations). Conflict can escalate or de-escalate as it moves through these levels based on the dynamics and interactions involved. Each level requires different strategies and approaches for resolution.
