Officially, There was no Chancellor of Germany. Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany in 1933, and then President in August 1934 - upon the old President - Hindenburg's - death (he was old, don't worry). This meant that effectively, Hitler was the dictator of Germany, and appointed himself as Fuhrer. He stayed in that position until his death in 1945. The closed to him in power were probably Goebbels (Propaganda) and Gorring (economic).
