Germany declared war on the US on 11 December 1941
The war between Germany and Japan ended in the year 1945.
Italy and Japan
The US fought against Germany in two wars, World War I and World War II. In World War I, the United States joined the war because Germany had submarines along the East Coast of the US, and the US did not authorize this. Then, Germans sunk the Lusitania, a ship bound from New York to Britain. The Germans did this because they wanted to cut off all supplies from the United Kingdom. About 130 Americans perished in the sinking, and about 1200 total (however, the Germans had sunk many ships, this was the most influential though). In World War II, Japanese airplanes bombed Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. This was not because they wanted Hawaii, it was more of a warning saying "This is as far west as you're allowed in the Pacific." The US then joined World War II, fighting against the Axis powers (including both Germany and Japan).
The US, England, and Russia were known as the allied countries and fought against Germany and Italy who were known as axis countries in World War II
No they won against Germany in 1918.
