Who made gumdrops?

Gum drops were made by a man man called Eden Brown. They were made 50 years ago and in the beginning they were only one colour, which was orange. Eden Brown was just 15 when he took an interest for inventing, in a way he is a little bit like Willy Wonka because he is always experimenting with new things. Eden's sweet took off, after he health covered them, just one year after he discovered them.

Sadly Eden died two years after the gumdrops were made. now his son's son is carrying on the family business by making different coloured gumdrops which are a huge hit all over the world.There are sugary ones and plain ones and you can still buy the original sweets in most traditional sweet shops but can only buy the new ones in stores.
