The Politburo it represents has 25 members. and finally there is another leadership body, the Party's Central Committee with 205 members. Since the Nineties, the Army has become a formidable power center within China's leadership. Although Xi Jinping also is chairman of the Military's Central Committee he doesn't wield absolute power there ant the Party leadership very carefully takes the Military's views and wishes into consideration.
