∙ 10y agoNo Roman emperor tried to encourage the establishmnent of a represantative style of government. Roman emperors were absolute rulers and from the reign gd Diolcetian (286-305 AD) their style of government became autocratic. The firth king king of Rome, Servius Tullius (reigned 578-535 BC) created a representative style of govereemnt by creating two popular assemblies with voting powers: the Assembly of the Soldiers and the Assembly of the Tribes. Rome had a monarchy for 244 years, a republic for 482 years and rule by emperors for 503 years.
