Nougat 1st came from France in a little town called Montélimar but it is said that Greece tried to steal the idea of France and it worked for about 30 years until a Greek's wife [who was French] made it for him and he asked her "how do you know how to make that i never showed you" and she replied "i learned this from France in my home country" Greece then realized it was France who invented it and sincerely apologized.
