∙ 11y agoThe Zuni people still use the Zuni River and locally-sourced clay to fashion pottery for food and water storage. They decorate this pottery with home-made organic dyes. These same dyes are used for their woven items of clothing. That same clay is used to make adobe, a type of brick with which houses are built.
As their language is not related to any other Native American language, they had to rely on the human resource of intelligence to create their language.
They used gravity (and still do) to irrigate the arid desert region in which they live.
