Jim Crow separated blacks and whites by preventing them from going to school together and using the same public facilities such as restrooms. Blacks and whites had separate entrances to businesses and public transportation had separate sections for whites and blacks.
1. The job situation for many blacks had not improved. 2. Whites were still locking blacks out of the society in ways overt and veiled.
Southern Whites fought anti-slavery progress with several methods. During and after the Civil War, many whites as well as the Ku Klux Klan performed lynching, in which they hung Blacks as well as White "Black-lovers". The KKK and other Southerners abused people and intimidated them at the polls, including Blacks. Southern Whites who had been involved in the Civil War and succession from the Union soon came back into power in local and state governments so that they could pass many discriminatory laws known as the "Jim Crow Laws" that prevented Blacks from voting, having certain jobs, and pursuing an education despite the passing of the Fifteenth Amendment. These are some of the ways that Southerners opposed and hurt Anti-Slavery efforts.
the kkk changed history becuase of segregation. Segeration is were they sepreated blacks from whites. Once the brown vs. Board of edicuation happend they got along.
cuz everything was rebuilt witch made things hard! Not only that, but there were fields destroyed, prices on everything went up, white southerners lost their labor force, and freed blacks were penniless. Also, economic reasons aside, racism was growing ever higher and supremecist groups were made like the KKK. People were constantly being killed. Whites did not feel that blacks should be as good as them and they were horrified to see them have so much power. Many of them lost their ways of life. ~The Knowing.

There used to be countless ways that whites and blacks were separated, since blacks used to be thought of as inferior to whites. The separation of the two races would anything from separate water fountains or sections of seats on a bus to blacks not being allowed to go into certain buildings or businesses. Almost every social and day-to-day activity had ways for blacks and whites to be separated.
Blacks and whites were segregated socially and politically. Although not illegal (most places), interracial marriage was frowned upon, and whites typically did not hang around blacks (or vice versa). Blacks also had different jobs than whites, typically more hardworking for less pay. Blacks also had very little political liberties. Although granted the right to vote in 1865, blacks were hindered from voting (especially in the Southern US) in various ways until 1957. Segregation means separation, and whites and blacks were separated from many aspects of society. There were white and black neighborhoods, white and black schools, white and black restaurants, white and black bathrooms, etc.
Yes, racism can come from any race (i.e. blacks, whites, Asians, Indians, etc.)

Southern states disenfranchised Blacks through the use of Jim Crow laws. They weren't allowed to use the same public facilities as Whites and they didn't have the same rights.
Depends on who you talk to, in some ways yes, in some ways no. In some countries blacks are still treated as slaves. In America blacks did not have the same civil liberties that white people had, however they were not bought and sold as property (...not openly).
Sometimes employers discriminate against people of different races who apply for a job opening. Whites used to discriminate blacks because of their skin color and they tought blacks were below them.
Being a black person isn't different than being a white person, there isn't much of a difference. Because of Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. we blacks and whites now live in harmony. We are the same but diffrent in some ways and we should all thank martin Luther king for he has changed the world for a much better place. So blacks and whites are not so different at all!
Whites and blacks worked together in various ways, such as participating in the Underground Railroad to help slaves escape to free states, collaborating in abolitionist organizations to advocate for the end of slavery, and forming alliances in the fight against segregation and discrimination during the Civil Rights Movement. These collaborations were key in challenging oppressive systems and advancing the cause of freedom for slaves and civil rights for all.
