If you're talking actual firearms,the Japanese used the Arisaka 38 and Type 99 rifles along with the Type 100 sub-machine gun while the Americans used the M1 rifle and Thompson sub-machine gun with the BAR(Browning Automatic Rifle).If you are talking things such as naval guns and artillery batteries,I'm not sure if i can answer you there.I only know actual hand-held weapons,not the big guns.
