Truman had many roles after world war two and the years following. The more in depth he is researched the more controversial he is and the real Harry differs quite a bit from his mainstream portrait. An across the board summary is he helped found the UN, passed a plan that gave about $13 billion tax dollars to help rebuild Europe, his administration experienced the start of the "Cold" War, he helped develop Israel and signed the first declaration recognizing it as an independent secular state, however, the declaration goes no further in declaring it a Jewish state or as a Jewish Theocracy.
