Paul Revere became famous for many things. Before the American Revolution, he owned a bell-making business. Even though many contribute his fame to his part in the American Revolution, in the Battle of Lexington and Concord, he was actually made as famous as he is now due to Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's poem, The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere.
