The 19th Hussars charge at Brancourt on 8 October 1918 with just one
month remaining in WW-1 may be the final horse mounted event in the
Great War. It certainly wasn't the end of horses in the military. The US
2nd Cavalry finally dismounted in 1944. In WW-2 several nations still had
and used mounted Cavalry. Notable among them were the Poles in the
defense of their homeland, the Russian Cossacks, and the Italians. In
the Phillipenes the US 26th Cavalry mounted a charge against Japanese
Forces on Luzon on 16 January 1942. The Sikh Sowars of the British
Front Force Cavalry also fought the Japanese on 21 March 1942 in Burma.

me i led the last bayonet charge i charged the nazi scum head on abd tore out his throat with the end of my bled and then feasted on his spine.
Who was in charge of what?
Calvary units were not a common sight during World War Two, because many leaders saw them as obsolete once the tanks came into play. Grenades were only used in bunker or urban warfare and since it would be pointless attacking a bunker or a building on horseback they were not issued to Calvary troops. They might have been issued if they were forced to battle tanks but thT would have been unlikely if you' re interested in Calvary troops during World War Two check out Mongolia.
France and Germany were the last two countries in World War 1.
Benito Mussolini was in charge of Germany during World War 2.
