Delaware
The Delaware river was important to the battle of Trenton because without the river Washington would have never got to Trenton and suprised the hessians.
General George Washington is well remembered for crossing the Delaware to defeat the Hessians at Trenton. He caught the Hessians by surprise, as they didn't believe anyone foolish enough to cross a river into an occupied city.
Delaware River in the early morning hours of December 26, 1776. The crossing was a daring and risky move, as the river was icy and the weather was harsh. However, Washington and his men successfully crossed and surprised the Hessian troops stationed in Trenton, achieving a decisive victory.
It was a good idea because, if it wasnt for her there will be no red cross, and all of those solider she help would have been dead.
