If you are referring to the ridiculous and callous attack on Cuba known as the Bay of Pigs Invasion in 1961, my reaction, despite being a 13 year old at the time, was to wonder whether Dwight Eisenhower and John Kennedy were stupid or were they just stupid...no other words came to mind other than arrogant jackasses and warmongers who accomplished nothing for the beautiful country and the beautiful people they pretended to lead. A little history goes a long way.
