The Corpus Hippocraticum is the Latin for the Hippocratic Collection, or Hippocratic Canon also known as The Hippocratic Corpus, it is a collection of around seventy early medical works from Ancient Greece associated with the Ancient Greek physician Hippocrates and his teachings. They are, however, completely different in content, age and style, and are largely of unknown authorship. None of the volumes in the Corpus have been proved to be written by Hippocrates hand itself, though some sources say otherwise. Instead, the works were probably produced by students and followers of his, it is thought that there are 19 different authors, and thought to be written ages after his death.
