It's an interesting question, because the French Revolution is more often remembered for its negative aspects, such as the tremendous number of innocent people who were killed, the paranoia and witch-hunting, and the ultimate result of putting Napoleon in power, who embroiled France in a long series of very destructive wars which France eventually lost. However, the revolution did have some positive aspects. The whole feudal attitude about the worth of a person depending upon their birth, with people of supposedly noble blood being necessarily better than those of supposedly common blood, was ended very decisively. There were many terrible abuses resulting from the class system, and even though there were also terrible abuses committed by the revolution, it was still a good thing that the class system was ended. French people were judged after the revolution on their own merits, not on their class. The revolutionary ideal of liberty, equality, and fraternity (i.e., all men are brothers) was not entirely lost in the excess of violence that the revolution brought. In the end, France did become a better country, although the transition was truly painful, and the price was high.

John Dewey said, "A problem is half-solved if properly stated." This means that the first stage (which is the most often overlooked) in problem solving is to state the problem. There is no shame in taking a little extra time in understanding exactly what the problem is that is needing to be solved. Stating the problem, is half the battle.
No. The French Revolution was not an effect of the industrial revolution. The French revolution occurred due to the anger of the masses against the despotic rule of the monarchs in France.
