There is only one Irish national anthem, which is Amhrán na bhFiann (The Soldiers' Song). Ireland's Call is a song played at some rugby internationals because there is an all-Ireland rugby team, including players from Northern Ireland, but it is not a national anthem.
players
Yes. They are all professionals.
That is a complex question to answer. In 1882 an Irish team formed. Northern Ireland only came into existence in 1921 and at that time a separate organisation to look after football in Northern Ireland was formed. There were then two international teams, both taking players from all around Ireland. It was not until 1953, that a restriction was put on the team to only takes its players from within Northern Ireland and for the first time the name Northern Ireland was used for the team.

Northern Ireland only came into existence in 1922. After that, there were two teams in Ireland, one representing Northern Ireland and one representing the Republic of Ireland, but both could pick players from all of Ireland and both used the name Ireland. It was not until 1950 that the two teams were distinguished as Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.Northern Ireland only came into existence in 1922. Glasgow Celtic is traditionally a Catholic club and as a result a lot of Catholics in Northern Ireland would support Glasgow Celtic. Players from different parts of Ireland have played for Glasgow Celtic.
Celtic FC were setup by a catholic preist exclusivly for the catholic community living in the east end of Glasgow. Rangers originally only had Protestant players playing for the club and have links to Ulster (Northern Ireland). As a result became a microcosm of what was happening during "the troubles" in northern ireland. I does't help when many supporters of these teams are very narrow minded.
