Anchorage, Alaska. We have more coffee shops and espresso stands per capita than any other city in America. Almost all "Coffee Capital" claims go to Seattle, the home of Starbucks. They have 35 coffee establishment per 100,000 people.

Anchorage has close to 50 coffee establishment per 100,000 people. Anchorage doesn't show up on the radar because it is a small city comparatively. Yet, the northern clime has them drinking coffee like maniacs.
