Miwoks lived in and around the Sierra mountains in California.some of there neighbors were paiute's washoe's yokut's ohlone Maidu nisenan Wintu.a staple food was acorn and deer. There homes weren't tepee's but made of bark or mud houses.they had no major enemy's until the spaniard's and eoropean invaders came to California trying to missionize natives and steal gold.
