Well its a hard thing to say in the olden days it was 6 of December when father Christmas comes it was mikolajki (Secret Santa its when everybody takes a turn to put their hand in a hat with all the peoples names that are taking part , what person you pick is the person that you do a present for. If you pick yourself you do it again . ) But now its on a normal day and always will be i hope the 24 of December

Święty Mikołaj (literally: Saint Nicholas). During the period of communist rule the name that was supported by the government was Dziadek Mróz (literally: Grandpa Frost, taken from the Soviet equivalent). The goverment did like the "saint" part, as it is related to religion.
