New immigrants were more likely to settle in urban ethnic enclaves
It is not true that all late 19th century and early 20th century immigrants came from Europe. While a large number of immigrants did come from European countries, there were also immigrants from other parts of the world, such as Asia.
Short answer: Yes. (but that is an almost misleading generalisation)
That my friend is very true.
true
A generalisation is an idea or statement which is can be applied universally. The word is usually used when specific examples are being used as a basis of a generalisation. A gross generalisation is an extreme case and use of the phrase is normally critical. An example of a gross generalisation is "All Italians make good lovers". Some are but that doesn't mean they all are.
That may be a generalisation, but I know of many exceptions.
Any generalisation of that kind is total nonsense.
true
Not always.Otherwise wealthy people and wealthy businesses would never lose money... and they do, all the time.It is a generalisation, and as such is a rough interpretation of what tends to happen in life

New immigrants in France are treated with hesitation at first. This is especially true if the immigrants are from countries outside Europe.
