The Great Charge on Cemetary Ridge on 3 July 1863 is called "Pickett's Charge" for George Pickett commanded the largest single division in that assault. The assault itself consisted of an entire corp of Confederate infantry commanded by Lt. General Longstreet.
It rightly should be called "Longstreet's Charge".
