In the Spanish cultures, someone who had both Native American and European ancestors was called a "mestizo," which means "mixed."
In the Anglo frontier cultures and into the early 20th century, such a person might have been called in English a "half-breed" or even less polite terms.

∙ 11y agodoujla or however you spell it, but it's pronounced dough-gla, at least that's what I know, I'm Trinidadian (although no longer living there), and one of my best friends in highschool was that mix so that's why I know, other people might call it something else but that's what I know they call in in Trinidad or maybe even the entire caribbean
