We could say for sure they did believe in the Black Freedom Movement.
Because he didn't like segregation, and he didn't like the way whites were treating blacks. Back in those days, black people were hated and treated very cruelly, and Dr. King didn't like it and was actively trying to put an end to all of the hatred.
